How to Send Animated Gif in Whatsapp on Android

  1. In your chat, tap the share button.
  2. Select Video to choose your video. You can also record a video.
  3. The video can be long, but the animated gif can only be 6 seconds long.
  4. In the Edit Video page, trim your video (if needed) to be 6 seconds long or less. the Video/Gif toggle will appear.
  5. Tap on the toggle, it will now show the Gif icon instead of Video.
  6. Share the gif.
