Bridge of Sovereignty

Amongst the criterias of a Country being a country is having a working and legit Government and piece of land, with borders and all. Not one of the criterias lists a country must have a bridge, especially a straight one.

So what the hell are we contemplating giving away our sands (the size of Singapore itself) and our airspace to Singapore? It should not be a point to ponder at all. It is out of the question, much like saying that we’re giving away our Sovereignty on a silver platter. Later, when we need another bridge or so, we may need to give away one of our State.

And with movies like V for Vendett in the cinemas, even the self-proclaimed optimist that I am, I’m fearing for the worst.
